Georgia Tech Staff Council Chair Quinae Ford and her family, the Carswells, appeared on the syndicated television game show “Family Feud” on episodes that premiered May 3 and 4, 2021. The hit program features two families of five contestants each who compete to name the most popular responses to survey questions in order to win cash and other prizes.
“What do you do, Quinae?” asked comedian and show host Steve Harvey.
“I am an administrative manager at the best institution this side of the Mississippi [River] – Georgia Tech!” answered Ford, an administrative manager and facilities management property coordinator for the Office of Fleet Services. “I’ve been there 15 years this June,” she continued. The show was recorded in September 2020.
Other family members appearing with Ford included her husband Marques, mother, Gwendolyn, sister-in-law, April, and brother, Quincy. The Carswell family took home a cash prize.
"We're all "Family Feud" fans, so when I saw that auditions were open, I knew we had to go for it," Ford said. "I'm so glad we had this once-in-a-lifetime experience together. It's a memory we will always cherish."
“Family Feud” has aired since 1976 and has produced multiple regional adaptations in over 50 international markets outside of the U.S.
