Job Summary

Coordinate, compile and/or create digital content to achieve strategic Institute marketing and communications goals. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty and staff. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Develop content strategy and coordinate design utilizing collaborative needs assessment and analysis to achieve strategic Institute marketing and communications goals.

Job Duty 2 -
Monitor and compile reports using analytics, search engine optimization, benchmarking and tracking for analysis and planning.

Job Duty 3 -
Produce, update and maintain website content to ensure alignment with Institute marketing and communications goals.

Job Duty 4 -
Serve as subject matter expert and advise unit personnel in areas related to communication content.

Job Duty 5 -
Define strategy for content creation and management to strengthen strategic Institute marketing and communications goals.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
Organizational skills, verbal and written communications skills;  ability to operate effectively on a cross-functional team, manage multiple projects and work in a deadline-oriented environment

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Technical Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong experience in working with Drupal 9 content management system
  • Experienced in designing, creating, and managing HTML email communications
