David Ta, Utility Manager, has taken a giant leap over the last 3 years. David manages all of the energy and water billing for the Institute has taken it to the next level in helping to advance our utility analytics and energy efficiencies for the Institute.

Kristine Hanniford - Center for Student Engagement

Kristine works so hard to ensure each task is taken care of to the fullest and that they are student-centered and student-serving. Kristine also brings such a positive and creative energy to work each day. Every office WISHES they had a Kristine like we do in CSE!

Kelsey Gulledge - Aerospace Engineering

Kelsey is a communications hero! Always making the school look good through well written publications, social media posts and printed materials. Recently, she saved the day by coming out to take photos last minute at a student event I organized. She's the best!

Jeanetta Clinton - School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

I celebrate collaboration with Jeanetta. She took extra effort to help me procure items for the EMBARC program completion celebration. The impact on the participants was priceless. Helping another staff member lets us all show students they are our top priority.

Venese Blake-Leggett - School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Venese went above and beyond to help me with logistics for the EMBARC program this past Spring. The final touch was her top-tier event planning skills to beautify the completion celebration. She stewards well any resources we have and brings excellence to everything she does.

Sarah Hubbard - HR Services

Sarah demonstrated impressive initiative when she conceptualized and worked on a hub tool to streamline and optimize work for her own direct reports, but then broadened the scope and functionality to support our entire unit, showcasing a strong commitment to collective success.

Tavia joined the college in 2017 as the Executive Assistant to the Dean. Her ability to multitask, and accommodate faculty, while still keeping the Dean's very busy schedule in line, is a very admirable talent, that not many can do successfully but Tavia does every time!

Deanna works tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly. She has an incredible ability to step in wherever needed, often before even asked. Her reliability, teamwork, and positive attitude make a meaningful impact every day—she truly is the glue that keeps us all together!

Tera McDonald - Office of Undergraduate Admission - Campus Visits

Tera works tirelessly to recruit, train, and organize the dozens of students who give guided tours of campus to +20k visitors each year! Tera's unwavering positivity and servant-leadership style are unmatched and we are lucky to have her!

April Heard - College of Sciences, Dean's Office

April joined the College of Sciences, Dean's Office, as an Administrative Manager II in February 2025. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, experienced in Project Management. Applying her background and experience to this role has made a huge impact in the College of Sciences.

Charmain Alstom - IDEaS

She has made a difference with the different grants and proposals she has worked on. However, this last one that took place that she was apart of she was phenomenal. She stayed up days in and out trying to finish it and she did.

Laura Mullins - Mechanical Engineering
