Facilitate and coordinate application of human resources policies and procedures for assigned campus unit(s). Coordinate implementation of new or revised human resources policy and programs within unit(s). This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit management and staff, Office of Human Resources (OHR) management and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit management and staff. This position will supervise: NA.


Job Duty 1 -
Advise and assist unit management in application of human resources policies and procedures
Job Duty 2 -
Review and coordinate processing of transactions to be entered in Human Resources Information System (new hires, terminations, pay actions, etc.)
Job Duty 3 -
Review, analyze and advise regarding human resources related issues (pay equity, promotions, new hires, organizational structures, etc.)
Job Duty 4 -
Coordinate and facilitate processing of formal employee relations issues, investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations
Job Duty 5 -
Serve as liaison between assigned unit(s) and OHR regarding new or revised policies and procedures
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned
This job requires professional level generalist knowledge of human resources administrative practices including those related to recruitment/staffing, compensation/benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and workforce planning. Skill in the use of office computer applications and HRMS databases is required.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Four to six years of job related experience

PHR/SPHR certification
Preferred Educational Qualifications
